An imaginative fantasy that has translated into architectural follies for several centuries. Giving rise to the inspiration of the greatest architects, it is this desire to create a new world with constraints that transgress real and with a view to changing society and people's lives. Emerging from the depths of the human imagination, this architectural caprice is proliferating new forms that come from the absurd and take a fresh look at our world. Often utopian, few of these ideas ever saw the light of day, due to a lack of technical expertise. And remained a mere ephemeral dream. Archigram was born of this desire for upheaval. A twentieth-century collective whose primary aim was to go beyond the prevailing conceptions of architecture and city design, and take a fresh, futuristic look at.
